This might turn into great news for us all, as Japanese company Drecom has acquired the copyright and trademark rights, domestic and foreign, to the Wizardry intellectual property.

If this means that they will develop a new first-person & grid-based game under the Wizardry label remains to be seen. Drecom is a mobile game developer and maybe their line of past games suggests that we should expect?
